TROY WEBSTER
This is Troy Webster from Neville. Troy is 19 and has been bull riding for about 3-4 years. His dad used to ride bulls back in the day, and Troy’s brother also rides, so it was only fitting that Troy followed in both their footsteps. Troy told us that he is extremely self-motivated when it comes to bull riding, and his biggest influence would be his dad! The boys practice around once or twice a week at his dad’s property (where we were lucky enough to visit last week and watch them practice). We asked Troy what were his plans for the future. He said, “I’m planning on heading over to America in a few years to hopefully ride, other than that I see myself with my own property and still riding bulls.” Sounds like a good plan to us! BAILEE SELTEN
This is Bailee Selten, originally from Blayney. Bailee is 22 and has been bull riding for around 4-5 years now. He got into riding through a friend that rode. He tries to practice as much as he is able to. Bailee was also at practice at Troy’s place when we were there. Bailee says his favorite rodeo would probably be Coonamble, as he seems to have a bit of luck there when he’s riding. Bailee said he loves riding because of all the different people, places, and things you get to do and see. We asked what were the plans for the future. His response was, “I would like to go ride over in Canada and then head over to the States to ride. Oh, and definitely see myself living somewhere warm.” We hope you achieve all that you want, Bailee.
